Nexus mod will not download to vortex

 · I recently imported mods from the old Nexus Mod Manager program into Vortex, and when I went to update the mods that needed updating, it would not download through Vortex and I instead have to download it Manually. So far Vortex looks and feels really good. I did a fresh install of Fallout 4 and was happily downloading dozens of mods from the Nexus. They all qued up just fine in Vortex, but the download speeds were horible. Vortex would only download one at a time. Vortex or newer is required for this game extension to function! Absolutely NEVER use Vortex in combination with other Resident Evil mod managers unless you want to break your game! Do NOT close Vortex or run the game while a validation operation is running, no matter how long it takes - go make yourself a tea while you're waiting. This is necessary so Vortex can be used to download mods straight from Nexus Mods via the corresponding "Download: Vortex" button on a given mod page. As Vortex does this automatically upon startup, no action on your end is required. Link your Nexus Mods account to Vortex (required) Open Vortex and click the red icon in the top right corner.
